I have an open PhD position in my group at Université Laval (Quebec CIty, Canada) on the topic "Statistical learning methods for functional data".   Requirements and Conditions - Background in statistics, machine learning, data science, or similar - Programming experience (R, Python, Matlab or similar) - Advanced level of English - Intermediate level of French (or willingness to reach an intermediate level before the beginning of the PhD program)   Funding: at least 25 000 CAD/year for 4 years (including admission and success support scholarships from the Faculty, as well as supervisor scholarships).
