The Probability group at the University of Warwick ( P@W ) is looking for talented students to undertake their   PhD studies  with us.   The successful applicant will join one of the   largest probability groups  worldwide with an established track record of high-quality research and a   broad range of interests .  The Probability group is   joint   between the Mathematics and Statistics Department and you can apply to either or   both  (recommended). 6 PhD positions Berlin-Oxford International Research Training Group

the        Berlin-Oxford International Research Training Group (IRTG) 2544     "Stochastic Analysis in Interaction" offers 6 PhD positions (75% TVL E 13, about 2100 EUR p.m. after taxes, social security...) for 3 years starting   between January 1 and April 1, 2026. Funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), the IRTG is a joint research initiative of the stochastic analysis groups at FU, HU, TU and WIAS Berlin with its counterpart at the University of Oxford. PhD positions with Max Nendel at the University of Waterloo

There are up to two PhD positions available in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo, under the supervision of Prof. Max Nendel. The PhD projects will lie within the broad theme of Model Uncertainty in Finance, Actuarial Science, and Economics. Qualifications: Applicants are expected to hold a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Mathematical Economics, Mathematical Finance, or a related field. In addition, candidates should have excellent knowledge in at least one of the following topics: measure and probability theory, stochastic analysis, functional analysis, partial differential equations, (stochastic) optimal control. Starting date: January 1, 2026 or later (flexible upon agreement).
