Junior Quantitative Analyst at Zhero
Zhero is a focused developer of green and clean energy projects. Our mission is to deliver net zero solutions and lowest cost of energy, supporting local content and equality. The goal of Zhero is to develop, own and operate large scale renewables, renewables for the production of green molecules, energy storage solutions and repurposing of assets and activities in the journey towards decarbonisation.
We are currently looking for a Junior Quantitative Analyst to join our office in Milan. As such, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's mission of developing green and clean energy projects. Your main responsibility will be to leverage your analytical skills to provide data-driven insights and support informed decision-making across various aspects of the business.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering
- Less than three years of professional experience – previous experiences in energy or banking sector are a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Python (proficiency in other programming languages will be considered)
- Proficiency in MS Office
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain operative and financial models for energy transition related projects
- Optimization of sizing and operations of industrial assets
- Develop data and AI tools to support business decisions
- Conduct quantitative and market-related analysis
- Perform data analysis on public and proprietary data sets
- Analyze market trends related to green molecules or electrons
- Perform intrinsic and extrinsic valuation of assets interacting with commodity markets
- Maintain and expand existing software libraries
