PhD position in Numerical Analysis at KTH, Stockholm

One fully-funded PhD position is available within my group in the Numerical Analysis, Optimization & Systems Theory division in the Mathematics Department at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The focus of the PhD is on the development of digital twins for understanding moisture dynamics in the insulation for high-voltage transformers. This is an interdisciplinary project in collaboration with and partially funded by an industrial partner. The project will incorporate theory, algorithms, and a focused application. A Masters degree is required at the time of hire.
